A fantastic, high-end experience

The Hotel Carlton (and Beaulieu-sur-Mer) was a fantastic place to make base for a week on the Côte d’Azur. First of all, the location is convenient. It is a quick (25ish minute, €25-30) Uber from the airport. First of all, the location is convenient. It is a quick (25ish minute, €25-30) Uber from the airport. The hotel is a quick walk to the train station, making most of the sights of the Riviera very accessible and cheap. There are lots of decent to very good restaurants and easy walk away as well. The beach was also good for sunbathing and a quick swim, only about two minutes away on foot.
The front desk gave a warm welcome and they were exceptionally kind and helpful before and during the stay. I cannot say enough about their professionalism and kindness. Despite being a smaller hotel outside of the larger towns, I would recommend it to anyone regardless of their level of French or familiarity with the area. The entire facility gives a very upscale air, especially in comparison to other four star hotels I looked at in nearby towns and stayed at in Nice. Not to mention, the price is incredibly fair for the quality.
Drinks at the bar on some nights were very nice, as the hotel is quiet, and the breakfast was delicious each morning and normally very well enjoyed on the terrace. The pool was also very comfortable and peaceful with new loungers and it was slightly heated as a huge bonus.
The rooms themselves are very clean, very comfortable, and, again, have a very upscale feel. The air conditioning works well, a necessity for us from the southern US, and the beds were also very comfortable. The window in my room featured an electric, rolling metal blackout apparatus that made sleeping in one day almost too easy!
Room service was not obtrusive and did a fantastic job every day.
Overall, this small boutique hotel gave a truly boutique experience, sophisticated and relaxing. I would and will recommend this hotel and Beaulieu to anyone visiting the area, even as a suitable alternative to basing your trip out of Nice, where we did spend a fair amount of time. The pace and vibes were exactly what I wanted out of my vacation.

Nice place well located and near the sea. Easy to go by walk at Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. The property is really calm and the staff is very pleasant. This hotel was wonderful. Admittedly it’s not located in the heart of Vienna, but it is within a stone’s throw of Vienna HBF which was ideal for someone like me arriving by train from the airport, then departing again by train to Budapest next day.

As I said it is located practically next to the train station while there is also a tram stop outside the hotel so getting around Vienna is not an issue.
The hotel offers self check-in. The app wouldn’t work on my phone (Pixel 8) but that wasn’t a problem as there are tablets you can use once you arrive. This meant I was able to program a key card rather than use the app to access my room. The room itself was compact, but not claustrophobic, clean, tidy and offered a great night’s sleep.
I didn’t eat at the hotel but the option was there.
Not sure I’ll ever be back in Vienna but if I am this will be the first hotel I look to book. It was perfect in every sense.

I would recommend to anyone visiting Vienna for a city break to stay here. With tram and tube close you are in the centre in 20 minutes, the walk is 30 minutes anyway. Clean, modern rooms and lounge with a 24/7 bar. Lots of amenities and a good breakfast. WeI would recommend to anyone visiting Vienna for a city break to stay here. Had a great one night stay at the Hotel Schani Wien. Got there early before check in time and they allowed us to store our luggage in a locker for no additional charge. This allowed us to go and check out Vienna while our was getting ready. Perfect location nearHad a great one night stay at the Hotel Schani Wien. Perfect location near the train station and the metro was right across the street for easy access into town. We got a text from them when our room was ready and were able to do the self check in which was great. The room was perfect for us. Very clean, with everything you would need for a nice stay. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Vienna again.

Hotel was very clean, staff were friendly. 2 minute walk to all of the transportation. They gave us bus guide leaflets to help tour Budapest- very helpful.
Good variety of breakfast.

I didn’t pick any particular room, however was odd to have a big window in our room which opened to the hotel hall way anyone could see into whole room, had to keep the curtains closed when in there (which wasn’t a lot). Overall lovely hotel!

We really enjoyed the Atrium Fashion Hotel. The location was good, nice and easy to get around the city with plenty of bars, restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The hotel is okay. It’s conveniently located and close to the underground tram line along with the centre of Budapest. Which was all we needed really as we were here for 4 nights while attending the Coldplay concert. Very clean also which was a plus and Budapest is a beautifulThe hotel is okay. However, if you were looking for a spacious room with a window and nice food/attention to detail I would give this hotel a skip. Staff were very unsure of what was going on. I stayed here with my boyfriend and on arrival we were asked were we meant to be in separate rooms … We are together now 5 years and travel a lot. This isn’t something we encountered before.
Only one room was booked for this trip which we have proof of and then we were asked do we want to sleep in the same bed? “Do you want one big bed or 2 small beds” was the way it was phrased. Mind you a bit strange to ask a couple our age but maybe they ask this to everybody just incase? Given the reception was packed with guests we were a small bit embarrassed being asked this in front of everybody.
The reception worker then said bye… but all of a sudden proceeded to follow us into the lift and leave the desk unattended which was strange. They then looked confused at us for what felt like 10 minutes said finally said “enjoy” tried to close the doors with us all in the lift and then gave up and left before the doors closed. Not sure what it was all about but it was a bit unsettling as a first impression.
The room was incredibly tiny. Although available when we arrived which we were grateful for after an early flight! Clean towels and cleaned every day. The cleaners came in 2 mornings while we were asleep and went back out again once they saw us asleep. Breakfast was not great but I’m not a breakfast person anyway. Lots of flies around the fruit and sink area. But my boyfriend enjoyed it so I’m glad he availed of it.
I would book this hotel purely based off location and a place to sleep.i don’t believe it’s worth 4stars. 3 I would understand. A few things needed like staff training and improvements to the rooms and food offered to make it more 4star. But I guess that depends on what you are looking for.

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The dinner every night was great. Location is great if you do not have a car, which we didnt. it was 5 mins from the train station and they even provide an unlimited bus/train card to get around. Meals: Half board is a 5-course dinner with the choice of fish, meat, pasta, soups, desserts - all in extraordinary taste and quality.
Staff: speaks English, German, Italian and very helpful, professional and pleasant.
Additional facilities: very nice wellness with 2 saunas and 1 steam sauna, really great. The possibility to have our dog with us made our stay a perfect one.
Skiing / SNB: The Kronplatz ski resort is really close by 10-minute ski bus (free) and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel.

My sister and I visited Olang recently and were enchanted by both the hotel and the entire valley. The hotel seems like a home away from home for many of the guests and it was not long before we felt like part of the family. The hotel seems like a home away from home for many of the guests and it was not long before we felt like part of the family. The proprietors and staff are lovely, the food was plentiful and delicious, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. Although we paid for Bed and Breakfast only, the staff would follow up with us every morning of our stay to confirm if we would be in for dinner that evening and would tell us if there was a special event happening. Almost every evening we were there, we decided to stay for dinner, with the exception of our last night when we came back to the hotel and saw an amazing BBQ feast they were serving on the lawn and wished we had stayed for dinner. The hotel is in a quiet location, but within walking distance of the train station and the main part of town, so it is conveniently located. Bikes available for guests are plentiful and appeared to be in a multitude of sizes so as to accommodate pretty much everyone. We enjoyed our stay immensely and look forward to returning some day soon.

We reserved two nights, half board, in a junior suite. This was comfortable and very spacious, and had its own balcony looking out over fields to the Dolomites. The food for breakfast and the five-course dinner - was great. There are very nice local walks to do. The host, Cristofe was very kind and helpful - he speaks a number of languages, and I am sure you can find one that works with him!

Great hotel right over the river from the main area of Innsbruck. The views from the window were amazing, with mountains in the background. The room wasn’t large but roomy enough. A lovely oasis steps from the city center. Nice rooms and wonderful staff! Great dinner and transportation recommendations: the City card was great to have. Wow what a charming Hotel. I chose Hotel Mondschein for my one night stay very carefully. I wanted to capture the beauty of Innsbruck with the backdrop of mountains and river once again from when I visited over 30 years ago. Hotel Mondschein is in an amazing location surrounded byWow what a charming Hotel. I chose Hotel Mondschein for my one night stay very carefully. I wanted to capture the beauty of Innsbruck with the backdrop of mountains and river once again from when I visited over 30 years ago. Hotel Mondschein is in an amazing location surrounded by the mountains, facing the river and just across the bridge to Old Town. Only a five minute walk to restaurants, shops, the Golden Roof and Swarovski store where any location in Austria has free bathroom access. Even the buses are just across the river at the Marktplatz.
I was pleasantly surprised at the very charming room I had on the 5th floor facing the mountains and river. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL VIEW FROM MY WINDOW!!
Even before arriving I e-mailed Hotel Mondschein to ask what are my options on arrival from the Innsbruck train station to find my way to the Hotel. Patrick was so helpful with a speedy reply. Patrick was so detailed with the routes I could take by walking 20 minutes, bus with the listed timings of the schedule that would coincide with the arrival of the train I was taking from Vienna or taxi with the cost of approx. 12 euros from the train station HBF. I took the K bus from Innsbruck train station to Marktplatz. Very short ride with only a few stops and just walked across the river bridge to Hotel. I bought a bus ticket for 3 Euros cash at a Tabac shop just outside the train station. You can also buy a ticket at the machines. On my return train ride to Salzburg you can get the bus K, 501, 502 or 503. But you have to walk a little further past the Marktplatz and get the bus. Buy your ticket at the machine at Marktplatz.
My room 52 was lovely with wood accents. The bed was very comfortable. There is so much room for hanging clothes. There is a huge wood armoire with wood hangers, shelves and safe. Beside the armoire is another rod to hang clothes. Even in the hall there is a mirror with hooks on wood to hang clothes. There is an upholstered green sofa chair and wood desk and chair. There is a tv on the wall. There is a blue material bench that could be used as a luggage rack. The bathroom is really nice but small and the most noticeable feature is it is so clean with very white soft towels. There is a shampoo dispenser in the shower and a small bar of green soap engraved with hotel name at the sink, hand lotion, hairdryer, kleenex and mirror. Plus through all my travels through Austria, Hotel Mondschein was the only Hotel that had two full size garbage bins in the room instead of these step on minature bins that were useless.
There is an included buffet breakfast with a lot of choice plus if you want scrambled eggs just give your order in to one of the staff and they will make it fresh. The breakfast room is very pretty with blue accents.
I would highly recommend Hotel Mondschein if you are looking for a charming hotel in a great location.

Without exception, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our three night stay.
Our twin bedded room was comfortable and fully equipped, with an en-suite bathroom and a separate toilet, plus a lobby.

Although across the river from most tourist attractions, the hotel is well placed for walking or taking local transport, and is very quiet courtesy of the excellent double glazing.
Breakfast consisted of typical European fare, with scrambled egg also available and cooked freshly when ordered via the very helpful staff members.
Free tea and coffee is available (via a machine in the bar area) 24/7, rather than having drink makers in each bedroom.
When seeing me going out on a rainy afternoon, I was offered the free loan of an umbrella - service at its best!
Thoroughly recommended!
