You couldn’t really get closer to the central station than this hotel. It’s a 2 minute walk. Rooms ok. BOILING hot over night. Breakfast was ok. Staff very unhelpful and frankly rude! We stayed in this hotel based on our previous wonderful experience with a Leonardo Hotel in Barcelona. Our stay at this Vienna location was adequate overall, but there were some issues. First, it was early September and still quite warm, but the hotel had already turned off the air conditioning,We stayed in this hotel based on our previous wonderful experience with a Leonardo Hotel in Barcelona. Our stay at this Vienna location was adequate overall, but there were some issues. First, it was early September and still quite warm, but the hotel had already turned off the air conditioning, which made sleeping quite uncomfortable (actually impossible the first night - didn’t sleep a wink). The next day they had us sign a waiver form to allow the window to be opened more fully, which helped somewhat but the room remained quite warm until the last evening when the temperatures finally dropped a little outside. The second issue was the Wi-Fi, which was poor at best, disconnecting completely every few minutes even though the signal strength was adequate. The Wi-Fi was functional about 2 minutes out of every 10 minutes. Third, the staff at this hotel were generally rude. When we checked in on a Sunday evening, the agent was berating another customer and I wondered what led to that until I had to ask him something a few hours later and he treated me similarly rudely. The morning staff were definitely more professional, but still quite brusque and seemed like they couldn’t be bothered. The location of this hotel is good, especially if you have train connections, in which case the location is great. The tram stop is a 2-3 minute walk away and you can get into central Vienna in about 10 minutes. The breakfast was also good. If you come during a time with cooler temperatures and working Wi-Fi, you will likely have a good experience, especially if you don’t need to interact with the staff.

Having stayed in Vienna previously, at a more central location, I initially felt this modern hotel was a bit far out of the city centre. However, located in a recently redeveloped area of the city, it was convenient for the Belvedere, and had good links elsewhere. What a life saver. The only room left was a twin, but we didn't mind as the other place we had booked was not working for us, and we needed a bed for a few nights.

The breakfast itself was fine, but it was so busy that the staff had trouble replenishing the supplies on time. As a result, there were often no bread rolls available at all.
A nice addition is the availability of free bottles of refillable drinking water at the entrance of the hotel.
For a visit to the center of Vienna, we advise against walking to the train station first and taking the metro from there: the metro station is located on the other side of the train station and is much further away than you may think. (and also requires climbing many stairs).
We recommend taking tram D instead: the tram stop (Hauptbahnhof Ost) is much closer to the hotel and all the major sights of the city are easily accessible with this tram line.

Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms have all that's required. No tea and coffee facilities but provided in lobby area. Water in room. Breakfast included in our room rate which set us up nicely for the day. Only minor issue was room was very hot. Friends in room next door saidStaff friendly and helpful. Underwhelming stay but was clean and location was walkable.

We only stayed one night at the hotel and picked the hotel based on an opportunity to burn some Accor points as we needed 4 rooms. Location was okay, about 15 minute walk from the center of town.

AC didn't seem to get cold so we slept with windows open, shower was small and awkward.
We were spoiled at Hyatts through the trip so breakfast was extremely disappointing. Hotel said it would be included when we checked in but then told us it was a mistake and asked for payment. Luckily eventually they ended up waiving it.
Room was large and clean so checked off that box and was definitely the best feature. It is noted that after our stay we decided to cancel our additional two Accor hotels in the next destinations and moved back to Hyatts in Budapest and Istanbul.

Long story short, my booking ran into some hiccups, and Hannah (the Reservation and Banquet Manager) was super prompt in helping me fix the issue even though we were several timezones apart. By super prompt, I mean that she helped me sort everything out all within an hour. I honestly haven't encountered such efficiency in my many years of travelling and having stayed in countless hotels globally. Usual problems like these, may take hours or even up to days to sort out.
Thank you so much Hannah, for making my pre-trip experience so wonderful. I am looking forward to spending Christmas there!

An excellent hotel, well located in a quiet area and close to the old city
The room was lovely, spacious and well appointed . Bed sizes large with individual doonas so no fighting over the doona!

Hotel Mercure Salzburg City is positioned midway between the main railway station ("Salzburg Hauptbahnhof") and the old city center, so it takes 10 to 15 minutes walking to reach either.

We had booked their deluxe room and had requested for a room facing the old town/river. The check in process was super quick and we were given a room on the 4th floor overlooking the river. The deluxe room was spacious enough for a family of four with 4 beds and the view from the room was simply amazing and even had a bathtub.
The staff at the reception were very welcoming and super helpful. If you are a tourist, you’d find that they are very willing to help you get around with useful advice. The only thing we wished for was for a breakfast spread that could have included hot food. It was mostly cold, with scrambled eggs being the only hot option available. We were almost struggling by the 3rd day!
Getting to the hotel on public transport is not something you’d figure out easily the 1st time. Take one of the buses 501, 502 or 503 to Terminal Marketplatz and walk to the hotel. Or you could take the STB tram as well and get to the same station. The hotel is a 5 min walk from this point across the river.
In my experience, Hotel Mondschein is a fantastic place to stay, offering comfort, great views, and a convenient location for people visiting Innsbruck.

Recently spent 4 nights here for a get-away with friends. This hotel fit all of our unique needs: 1) allowed pets, 2) had a room with twin beds, 3) free breakfast and 4) affordable. Rooms were small, but that was expected because it is Europe. The location -- in the center of Innsbruck, right in front of the river -- was perfect. You can easily spot the hotel on postcards of Innsbruck! Staff were very nice and the breakfast was delicious. The Innsbruck card was an awesome added bonus: we too advantage of 2 of the cable card deals and also the free (!) bicycle rental. A lovely home base for a great vacation.

This historic boutique hotel is full of charm and character. It is a bougie hotel, a bit fancy but not over-the-top, although, I wondered if Swarovski crystal dust was poured into the marble bathroom floor... it was very sparkly! The beds were comfortable & they had air conditioning. The room we had (for 4) was a bit cramped for space. The toilet/sink were in a separate room which was a very tiny space. Our room overlooked a back alley way which was fine, there were a lot of people walking but it wasn't a bother. The breakfast was FABULOUS and the eating space was beautiful! Unfortunately, the front desk staff wasn't very friendly, almost rude. When that happens, I don't let it reflect the entire establishment, it made us wonder if the lady was having a bad day, or they didn't like Americans. But then another front desk worker later that night, a young man, was also rude, even gave me an eye roll when I asked a question! LMAO! It doesn't bother me, it made us laugh. Poor him.
The parking garage is located around the corner from the hotel on the left, it's literally up a very narrow hill, (the back alley that we could see out our room window.) When walking back from the car, we found a fun place that was located right behind Motel Mondschein; it's called "Montagu Bed & Beers Hostel." They had a small bar and in the basement was live music. Most likely it was FOR the people staying at the hostel, but what the heck, we were in town, and we needed a drink after the eye rollers. hahaha! We would recommend this hotel, it was pretty, clean, quiet and comfortable.

A comfy stay in historic Bratislava

We loved Bratislava and would definitely stay at the Clarion Congress Hotel again.
The staff were great - very accommodating and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean.
The hotel is a short walk from the main railway station and a 10-15 minute walk to the wonderful historical centre, restaurants, cafesWe loved Bratislava and would definitely stay at the Clarion Congress Hotel again.

The hotel is a short walk from the main railway station and a 10-15 minute walk to the wonderful historical centre, restaurants, cafes and bars.
Buses and trams are nearby to get you further out - the Devin Castle ruins are a must!!
The hotel has its own cosy bar, along with a restaurant.

Great stay near train station in Bratislava

Big clean room close to everything quiet good breakfast 2 minutes from train station. A very comfortable, spacious and clean hotel, within walking distance from both the train station and the historic center of bratislava —which holds all the touristic points of interest.

It was pretty late when we arrived (and the hotel’s restaurant was about to close), so we were worried that we wouldn’t find any options to get dinner, but the staff member at the front desk kindly helped us find a delivery service that was available, so thanks to him we found a delicious and affordable pizza place that was still open.
The rooms are perfect; with comfortable beds and very good facilities. Though I would personally recommend decorating them in more neutral style and with minimalistic colors.
The breakfast is not included, but I still highly recommend it, as you get plenty of delicious options for a very good price. Plus, the restaurant/lobby area is nice.
Really good option in general! I recommend it.

At start when i came to a hotel, even it was before check in time receptionist start talking to me right away, he even told me that early chcek in is possible and i could go to the room, he was really friendly, told me where to go forAt start when i came to a hotel, even it was before check in time receptionist start talking to me right away, he even told me that early chcek in is possible and i could go to the room, he was really friendly, told me where to go for brf as well as other things about hotel. Brf was excellent with variety of choosing any dish for your liking. As i have a problem with milk products, i just needed to tell them about it at the morning and they even provided lakto-free milk. After brf i asked if is there posibility for late check out and they even prolonged it till 13:00 without any fee. 5 from 5

From touch down to room all done in 50 minutes! Flight and transfer all on time. Checked in so quick by friendly professional receptionist, what more do you want?
The room was more than I expected, so clean with everything you could need.

The room was more than I expected, so clean with everything you could need.
Getting into the old town can be done via the tram just outside the hotel or if you fancy a walk it’s around 2 km, but it’s a very busy long road and on a night a little dark. Use public transport although it’s safe enough and you save time.
This brings me onto the breakfast. Such a great choice! If you can’t find anything you like I would be amazed as there is such a variety to set you off for a perfect day.
Thanks also to the girl behind the bar who gave me a wave as I returned late one night as she left on her way home!
