10 Nights Rome, Milan & Florence Or Venice Or Umbria Vacation W/Air

Well situated near the metro station and shops some lovely restaurants within walking distance. Also lovely cafe eateries close by. Hotel staff were on hand to answer any questions and friendly, we had an early flight they phoned a taxi 2 am arrived within 10 minutes. Hotel was clean free coffee machine at the side of lifts. Rooms were clean and tidy small but functional great shower we were on the third floor I would suggest a room with a balcony great shower. Although on the front the road is very busy but not noisy in room. Would recommend especially for a short stay. Metro easy to use for getting to sightseeing destination.

A truly wonderful stay at Best Western Piccadilly. We were greeted with a warm welcome from Chiara on reception. She was informative and helped us plan our sightseeing. We stayed on the 8th floor with fantastic views across the city. Breakfast was delicious each morning. Julio on reception was helpful in ordering a taxi at 430am to return to the airport. Great staff. Clean hotel. Ideally situated. We walked to colleseum, Trevi fountain, Pantheon and Spanish steps. Metro close by. The staff are a credit to the hotel. Excellent service throughout. Chiara was amazing. We will definately be returning. A huge thank you.

This hotel was perfect, exactly what we wanted for our short trip to Rome. A small family of 3 in a nice cosy hotel the room was more than adequate for what we wanted. The beds were cosy and comfy the shower was perfect. Breakfast was extremely nice with a great selection meats, pastries, cheeses and cereals. There was even a pancake machine that made fresh pancakes at the press of a button to the great delight of my 5 year old son. This came with a choice of maple syrup or chocolate sauce. We would spend our day after breakfast exploring the city which is a short walk from the city itself. The colosseum is a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel and very easy to find. We walked into the city centre every day we were there. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful with every interaction we had with them. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone that is looking to explore Rome and use the hotel purely as a bed for the night and a good breakfast in the morning. I would definitely return if I were to visit Rome again.

Hotel Concordia is set in the centre of Venice, right next to St Marks and was easy to find ( Just go through the archway of the Clock Tower and take the first turn to the right ) Our room was clean and reasonably sized with a separate bathroom which had a good walk in shower, basin, toilet and bidet. WiFi worked well. The staff were friendly and there was an excellent buffet breakfast with windows looking out on St Marks. Like most Venice hotels Concordia is carved out of several adjoining buildings. It starts on the first floor as the ground floor in the busy street is full of shops and restaurants. The rooms are traditional in style but not overdone. The style is 1960s but all in modern condition. When you leave Venice for the airport, ask the Concierge to arrange a private water taxi from the end of the street. It is more expensive than the communal water buses but gives a quicker ride and unmissable views of the little canals that are hidden from normal view in Venice. The luxury was nice.

This is a tougher one. The hotel location is amazing - no question. In the heart of St. Mark square - fabulous view from our balcony. We booked a room with an upstairs terrace with killer views of the back side of St Marks. Truly amazing view that we enjoyed daily. The bed was OK. Air Conditioning was frustrating, but for the most part, worked. Check in was quick, and the room was clean. Shower was tricky and in all honesty a little scary, since you have to climb into a huge garden tub and then get the shower head in the right spot to quickly take a shower. The scary part was climbing out - I was impressed with myself for not falling. The front desk service was OK - rather bored, but took care of our needs. If you are looking for a clean hotel, close to St. Marks, I would recommend this hotel. Would we stay here again... probably not.
