This hotel is located in Avenida 5 de Outubro, number 11, 11.and enjoys an excellent setting in the commercial centre of the Portuguese capital, between Platz Marquês de Pombal and dem Platz Duque de Saldanha. It is only a couple of metres to Avenida da Liberdade and guests will find themselves in the direct vicinity of a range of bars and restaurants as well as links to the public transport network. It is around 1 km to the famous Barrio Alto and to the other tourist attractions, such as the Alfama the EXPO centre and Belém are about 5 km from the hotel. Lisbon international airport is situated approximately 4 km from the hotel.

very good hotel to stay ,polite staff ,hotel very clean ,nicely located for easy access to the airport and walking into town was only there for 4 nights but will defintaly visit lisbon again as still a lot to see and would defenitaly base myself here again as there isvery good hotel to stay ,polite staff ,hotel very clean ,nicely located for easy access to the airport and walking into town was only there for 4 nights but will defintaly visit lisbon again as still a lot to see and would defenitaly base myself here again as there is so much nearby ,as we were lucky enough to see part of a festival would try and go at the same so we can see it all, lisbon i enjoyed it so much i will see you again and hopefuly manage to book here again

We have just returned from a citybreak, we arrived early and were shown with great courtesy our junior suite which was very spacious. The staff in all areas were friendly, welcoming and professional . Hotel Zenit is very clean. Our room has a modern and updated bathroom with good water pressure. The maid service is thorough and everything is spotless when they finish. Located near Saldanha metro station, good neighborhood, very convenient for supermarkets and small restaurants. Helpful frontHotel Zenit is very clean. We stayed here as a couple for two nights.
Check in was prompt and we settled in quickly. We were accidentally given a room that had not yet been cleaned but it was promptly y rectified by the staff and we were given a fresh room.

Check in was prompt and we settled in quickly. We were accidentally given a room that had not yet been cleaned but it was promptly y rectified by the staff and we were given a fresh room.
Each room has a cute balcony, and the room itself has plenty of storage space. The rooms are bright and airy. It was an average size. The bathroom is fairly small and the toilet was located directly behind the door so it’s worth baring in mind if you have mobility issues or need more space.
The beds were okay for comfort, we slept well and the room was clean. The hotel is ideal if you just would like somewhere to sleep and will be out for most of the day.
The location of the hotel is very good, it’s not as busy as some of the other districts and there are some lovely parks, shops and restaurants nearby. Metro stations are within walking distance (roughly 5/10 minutes) which means it’s easy to get to and from the airport.
Overall I would rate it 3/5 stars. It does its basic job and serves as a good place to sleep and was quiet.

Booked two rooms for a four night stay.
The first room was an upgraded(€25 per night) larger room with a queen bed, relatively modern and nice bathroom with toiletries. The second a single room but this had a nice outside balcony.

We found the reception staff, in fact all staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was a mix of some warm dishes i.e quiche, bacon, beans and cold offerings like cheeses, pastries etc, all were regularly replenished and of good quality.
The location is slightly out of the hustle and bustle but a 20min walk downhill and a little longer back, the hotel is also on a bus route and taxis were around. A few good restaurants and shops were close by the area felt pretty safe and quiet.
The hotel has a nice outdoor area to just sit out and chill after a long day.
We had a late return flight and reception were more than happy to look after our cases once we checked out so we could enjoy the day.
Overall for the cost we thought the hotel was excellent, the nice breakfast and friendly helpful staff added to the experience and we will definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel. We had a room with a large balcony with sun loungers on.

Porto is very hilly and the hotel a good 45 minute downhill walk to the river. A definite metro ride back.
Augusto restaurant nearby very well recommended, but closed Sunday and Monday

Hotel decor a little blingy and dark but clean . Room was small and dark but bathroom spacious and clean . Restaurant lovely with good buffet breakfast and good choice of evening meal. Beautiful hotel and good value

Located a short way outside the main tourist area of Porto but still a very nice hotel. Our room was not an expensive one by Porto standards but was large, with a vast balcony and the biggest bed I have ever seen. Perhaps a little too big.

Breakfast ticked all the boxes and the bar was everything required. I’m pleased to say the area around the hotel is very quite over night.
The city centre is about a 20 minute walk away, mostly down hill heading into town, but the metro system is so easy to use and the hotel is only 3 stops stops down the line.
It’s not often mentioned, but the housekeeping staff did an excellent job every day.

A hidden Gem of a Hotel

The welcome from the start of our short stay was very warm and helpful. This hotel is an oasis from the busyness of Porto City. Its spotless and the rooms are well presented.We enjoyed the lovely breakfast during our stay -lots of choice.

The garden is a nice place to retreat to with a drink or to read a book.
Be warned if you don’t use the metro or bus it’s a good walk uphill from the Historic Centre of the City but it’s a nice walk down passing shops and cafes you might miss otherwise.
The reception team spoke fluent English and were always there to help and advise which we really appreciated.
Thank you Cristal Porto team for a lovely stay .

From the A22, take exit no. 5 towards Portimão and follow the signs for Praia da Rocha. When you reach Praia da Rocha , take the 3rd exit at the Rotunda dos 3 Castelos (Fonte) towards Av. das Comunidades Lusíadas. At the end of the road, turn right at the Rotunda da Marina and go up Estrada da Rocha, taking the 1st right towards Rua António Feu. Go around the hotel, turn left onto Av. Tomás Cabreira and you will find our entrance, where you can park briefly to unload your luggage and check in. You can obtain information at the reception of the Jupiter Algarve Hotel about using the garage (additional cost), as well as other paid and/or free public parking options in the vicinity .

Fantastic hotel. Very clean, staff are helpful and the food was amazing. Great location for the beach and plenty of bars, shops and restaurants in the surrounding area.

Two small issues though. Not enough loungers around the pool so even if you left your lounger unattended to do something within the hotel, the likelihood was you got a warning left on your lounger on your return.
Secondly the evening entertainment was not the best and more catered for the local residents. That said we had a brilliant holiday and I would 100% recommend this hotel.

Just had a wonderful stay at the Jupiter Algarve with the family (14 years old to 83).
*First, I noticed it was welcoming, bright and clean when we arrived. Rooms freshened every day, are sound proof and have air con. Great views, perfect location...close to beach, bars, restaurants, shopping, taxiJust had a wonderful stay at the Jupiter Algarve with the family (14 years old to 83).

Great views, perfect location...close to beach, bars, restaurants, shopping, taxi rank, etc. *Breakfast and evening restaurant outstanding! Food is out of this world, with everything you could ever want! Efficient food service, especially Antonio who greets with a friendly smile every time.
*Evening musical entertainment meant we had no reason to leave the hotel, although plenty to do in the area.
*Only issues had were pool on the smaller side, but beach just down the steps, and no air con in gym meant early morning workouts before it got too hot. A bit noisy in the evenings but to be expected where there are people!

We stayed in an apartment room. It was fairly clean. Very lumpy pillows. A great location right in Ponta Delgada. I would grade this more as a European 3* but it still offered good value considering it's location and standard of accommodation. We had to move rooms after a few days as our original room (502) faced some outlets that omitted a nasty smell of an evening which meantI would grade this more as a European 3* but it still offered good value considering it's location and standard of accommodation. We had to move rooms after a few days as our original room (502) faced some outlets that omitted a nasty smell of an evening which meant we could not sit out on the balcony - reception staff speak great English and thankfully managed to swap to new room. The pools (indoor and outdoor), steam room and sauna were great but jacuzzi needs servicing as only a couple of jets actually work and was very murky. Spa treatments very reasonable and very good.
(Read a review saying you need to bring your own towels to use pools - this is not true, you can obtain pool towels from reception for EUR10 deposit.)
Didn't use restaurant but bar staff were great and food was good (chips are crisps, not fries though!)
Kitchenette is exactly that, two hobs, combi microwave and kettle - cooking a family meal for 5 was a challenge but doable with a camping style outlook!
All in all a great budget friendly base for exploring the island or taking boat trips and being able to semi self cater.

We chose Hotel Antillia for it's location and mostly because of the parking on site, and we were very well surprised and satisfied with our stay. The hotel is very spacious, the room was big and also the bathroom, plenty of space! The staff was always very nice to us, and went out of their way to give us tips and try to help us with our trip plans.
The breakfast was varied and very tasty. There was a pool, that we did not have time to use, and also a spa on site. The fact that we always managed to park our rental car on site in the hotel was a big plus. Ponta Delgada's streets are very narrow and parking can be a hassle, so we were always reassured about the rental parked in the garage. And at no extra cost!
The city center can be reached by a 10 minute walk, as well as the sea front. Tha area was very quiet, we slept very well. Will stay again when we return!

The bed is firm, when you walk in you notice a small pillow positioned on the bed, the normal pillows are located in the closet. The pillows are not great quality.

If you plan to swim at their pool you need to bring your own towel, we found this very strange. You need to bring a towel with you on this trip anyway if you plan to go to the hot springs/beach.
The apartment had all of what we needed to make a nice breakfast.
The AC worked well but oddly. One degree celsius difference was 10 degrees f different.
Good location, 5 minute walk to the fruit/veg market.
There is free parking but it is tight maneuvering in and out of the garage.

My husband and I spent a week here at the end of May.
The hotel is set back behind a row of houses and accessed by a narrow alley.
The reception staff gave us a very friendly welcome and always spoke.
We had a spacious one bed apartment with a small kitchenette.

The kitchenette had sufficient utensils to cook breakfast or a light lunch, but unfortunately no fish slice, so difficult to fry eggs !
The bed was comfy, the curtains kept the light out, the air-con worked well.
We did not use the pool, possibly a bit chilly.
We also did not use the restaurant, but did use the bar. We thought it was more expensive than local bars, but then aren't most hotels like this.
Hotel is nicely situated, 10 mins to city centre, 5 mins to harbour restaurants.
Ask for a higher floor to get a lovely view out over the sea.
Only downside was the changeable weather, don't leave home without a raincoat !!
Would definitely recommend.
